During this trip, you will discover an incredible landscape just on the Chilean-Argentinean border. It is a 170 km and 3-hour ride to the entrance of the National Park, passing the Central Valley, the River Aconcagua Valley, Ski-center Portillo, the Cristo Redentor tunnel and the National Monument Inca-bridge. You will follow the old railroad track, which leaves some nice old fashioned landmarks in the wild and desolate landscape.

Hiking to the Aconcagua basecamp can easily be done in one day. it will take approximately 3 hours to reach Confluencia, 1 hour to explore basecamp and 2 hours to return.

There are multi-day trekkings possible in this area.

10.00: Arriving at National Park Aconcagua
10.15: Start hiking
16.15: Return to Santiago de Chlle
